Fowl Play

Today I have a golden oldie to show you, that was sitting with my untrieds for almost two years: Orly Fowl Play.

Fowl Play has a deep plum colored jelly base filled with multichrome flakies shifting from red over orange and green to blue, plus some small blue hexes. I used three thin coats for opacity and added one coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top to speed up the drying time.

Of course I mattefied it, using H&M Matte Topcoat.

  1. Love how it looks matte! Even though you've had this for a while I'm glad flakies are making a return :)

    1. Oh yeah, flakies are definitely the next big thing in the indie polish scene, if you look at the current (or coming) colletions of ILNP, Girly Bits, Darling Diva Polish etc. :-)

  2. Wow...now I'm in the mood for wearing Fowl Play again. Didn't do so for a long time.

    Kind regards,
    Elena

    1. I just love flakies, especially mattefied, and as I mentioned to Squeaky Nails, there are a whole lot of flakies to come out soon (I pre-ordered the complete collection of the new ILNP flakies, 13 bottles...)

Liebe Grüsse auch an dich :-)
