Cold winds are rising

Today I've got another gorgeous indie polish to show you. It's Dollish Polish's Cold winds are rising.

Cold winds are rising, whose name was inspired by the TV series Game of Thrones, is described as "Cool Heather Grey creme accented with loads of icy Blue and Teal fine glitter and medium Teal hexagon glitter." (Source: Dollish Polish Shop)

I started with two coats of Catrice ASHley, a medium grey creme. Then I added one coat of Cold winds are rising  on all but my ring finger. On this one, I stamped with China Glaze Adore (Romantique Collection) and Konad plate m64. I finished with one coat of Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer.

I had some problems to get the larger glitters on my nails. On some nails I got only one or two, on others none at all. But it still looked great nonetheless.

I love how the Catrice / China Glaze combo match the colors of Cold winds are rising.

Cold winds are rising can be bought at the Dollish Polish shop, at Overall Beauty or, where I bought it, at Llarowe.

  1. That Catrice is an awesome grey, and I LOVE your nail length and shape!

I have never tried Dollish Polish, although I've read good things, because honestly, I find the label/ packaging to be off-putting. The glitter is lovely though- too bad you had a hard time getting some of the large glitters out. :)

    1. Thank you Cait, and thank you for being my first follower!

Dollish Polish have presented a new label and bottle form (example: http://dollishpolish.bigcartel.com/product/zombie-flesh-custom-franken-polish-full-size), but there's still some stock with the old one. Maybe you like the new one better?
